The Day After Christmas

Today is our wedding anniversary! Who in their right mind would get married on the day after Christmas?! Well, we were young and did it on the spur of the moment with a trip to Vegas!
It's been great 28 years!

It was a beautiful sunny day here in Southern California for Christmas. We enjoyed the great company of friends and family. I usually have 8 or more for dinner. Of course, the little star is our Rachel. She is now 18 months old and enjoying the tree. Not much into the gifts yet.

It's a family tradition for us to have Christmas Crackers every Christmas. This one was no different but we never had a chance to pull them. Too busy eating dessert!
Dana smoked a turkey for the 1st time..1st time cooking too! Is it supposed to look like this??? It was Deeelicious!! My Prime Rib was too, although the roasting pan had a hole in it and I lost all of my Au jus! Lots of smoke! Jeff found some fans and we quickly cleared it out. I guess all things aren't always perfect on Christmas..

Merry Christmas To All

Here's wishing you all a the best Christmas! I am finally ready to enjoy Christmas with my family! I have decorated my tree with some of my old ornaments and I DO mean OLD!

Here is a handblown glass bell from Santa's Workshop at the North Pole in Colorado. I worked there as Santa's Elf in 1965 the year I graduated from high school. I have so many fond memories of those days. The North Pole had and still has real Reindeer! The Santa Claus was Jack Willie, my history teacher! I'm sure his spirit is still there. It has a REAL frozen North Pole.

This one is made of sugar molded into a ball and sealed with real icing with the cutest little house sits inside. The top has red icing roses that connect it to a ribbon. It was made at Santa's Workshop too. I had quite of few of them at one time but over the years they have all crumbled. This is the only one left.

This one is a beautiful Fairy I bought at TJ Max last year. I bought three of them.

New shop in town

I have been busy making more charm necklaces for a cute shop in Tierrasanta called Trabuse' on Tierrasanta Blvd and Santo Road. They resell brand name clothes and have a variety of artisan jewelry.
Stop buy and say hi to Misty and Lindz. Lindz has made some very cute tote bags with necktie handles.
